Week 2 of Challenge

I am so proud of Miss Goofy. She worked hard last week. Friday is kind of one of those days where I have to give her all weekend to complete her work. Her Grandpa, The Cranky Old Man, is home from work on Fridays, so it's much more difficult to do her work. She got most of Friday's work done. She lucked out in that her writing assignment continues today and for the rest of the week.

She has completed a quarter of the challenge. I am so proud of her for working so hard and I look forward to updating next week with the news that she's halfway done!

My challenge to Miss Goofy

Miss Goofy and I worked out a challenge of our own. She does a full day of work everyday for 4 weeks and then she gets one week off. That's 20 days. I think she can do it. She's already got 4 days in. I'm really proud of her too. She's working hard and she isn't complaining.

On another note, I'm a little frustrated with my school tracking software. I'm not sure what I've done but it is seeing some of her assignments and counting them as complete. So when I grade the work, enter the points and mark them complete it is double counting the time. Very frustrating. So, I'm re-entering the assignments in a new database. I'm also changing the way I do it a little. Hopefully that will take care of the problem. It is a bit time consuming though.

I'm going to begin working on my next essay on responsibilities later today when I need a break from lesson planning. We'll see how it goes. Have a great day everyone!
